At 9:29 PM on March 1st, received a report of 15 inches of storm total snow from a member of the public in Wimbledon. This snow had been falling since February 28th at noon.

Wider weather episode

A winter storm impacted the southern red river valley and MN Lakes country from February 28th through March 1st, 2023. While warnings were issued in the early morning hours of February 28th, snow did not begin until the afternoon and continued to intensify into March 1st.
