Thunderstorm winds blew a tree down along the 4800 block of Danville Pike and other tree down along Danville Pike close to the intersection with Crooked Oak Road. Damage values are estimated.

Wider weather episode

Thunderstorms developed in advance of an approaching cold front. Some of these increased to severe levels and produced very large hail, some stones up to tennis ball size, and also localized damaging wind gusts.
