Eight inches of snow fell near Ambrose and Fortuna.

A low pressure system gradually lifted through the Northern Plains, bringing snow to northwest North Dakota. Over most locations the snow melted rather quickly and had trouble accumulating, but heavy accumulations of eight inches occurred over Divide County.
