Light to moderate snowfall developed during the early morning hours of March 7th across Central South Dakota, and spread northeast through the rest of the calendar day. Steady accumulations totaled to between 2 and 6.5 inches by the morning of the 8th, with the highest totals including 6.5 inches in Bowdle, and 6 inches 8 miles south-southwest of Seneca and in Selby.
