Public reported a 12-inch diameter tree limb blown down onto a fence.
Wider weather episode
An enhanced risk resulted in a widespread large hail event across southeast Nebraska. Storms developed after 4 PM along a stationary front near the Nebraska/Kansas border. A total of 55 storm reports were sent out by the office, most of which were for hail. The largest hailstone reported was 3 inches near Nebraska City. In addition to the hail, there were 4 observed tornadoes in OAX's Iowa counties.
