Quarter size hail was reported by personnel at the Graphic Packaging International plant south of Bush Field.
Wider weather episode
Daytime heating contributed to scattered thunderstorms that developed in the afternoon and evening along a surface boundary. Aided by dry air aloft, some of the storms reached severe limits.
