Event narrative
Two trees were downed, including one large one that blocked the road, and a tree that also took down a power line, on S. College Ave near and just south of Vidette. Time estimated.
Wider weather episode
Isolated storms developed along a surface trough in a moderately unstable environment during the afternoon and evening hours. Significant mid level dry air and a near surface dry layer supported a strong wind threat. Most of the severe reports were wind damage.
