ASOS at Augusta Bush Field measured a peak wind gust of 46 knots, or 53 mph.

Isolated storms developed along a surface trough in a moderately unstable environment during the afternoon and evening hours. Significant mid level dry air and a near surface dry layer supported a strong wind threat. Most of the severe reports were wind damage.
