Numerous trees were reported down along Woodbridge Road. One tree punctured the roof of a residence.
Wider weather episode
A sub 1000 millibar surface low tracked through NC during the early afternoon hours. Showers and thunderstorms developed along a retreating warm front, causing numerous reports of downed trees and wind damage. Some portions of Wilson County saw significant tree damage with the storms as they moved through the area.
