An outbuilding was destroyed and damage to a residence, along with multiple trees down, was reported along Frank Road near Highway 581.

Wider weather episode

A sub 1000 millibar surface low tracked through NC during the early afternoon hours. Showers and thunderstorms developed along a retreating warm front, causing numerous reports of downed trees and wind damage. Some portions of Wilson County saw significant tree damage with the storms as they moved through the area.
