Two inch hail was reported just south of Pickering in northern Nodaway County.

Wider weather episode

Supercells brought widespread severe weather to portions of Missouri on the afternoon and evening hours of April 4th and the early morning hours of April 5th. Hail was the primary hazard, with around 30 hail LSRs, including a few 2 hail reports. The severe weather for this day was well advertised, with an enhanced risk from SPC over the vast majority of the forecast area.
