An anomalously strong cold snap for mid May standards possibly resulted in some crop damage as temperatures overnight Monday morning of May 15th dropped into the 30s across northwestern Connecticut. The coldest locales saw overnight low temperatures fall into the low to mid 30s. These temperatures were conducive for frost formation across parts of Litchfield County.
