An anomalously strong cold snap for mid May standards possibly resulted in some crop damage as temperatures overnight Monday morning of May 15th dropped well into the 30s across western Massachusetts. The coldest locales saw overnight low temperatures fall below freezing. Widespread frost and freeze was reported across the region as a result.
