An anomalously strong cold snap for mid May standards possibly resulted in moderate crop damage as temperatures overnight Monday morning of May 15th dropped into the 30s across southern Vermont. The coldest locales saw overnight low temperatures fall into the upper 20s. Widespread frost and freeze was reported across the region.
