Trees were blown down just east of Highway 158 along Chatterton Church Road. The cost of damage was unknown, but it was estimated for inclusion of the event in Storm Data.

Wider weather episode

A cold front lingered across South Georgia. This feature combined with elevated MLCAPE of 2000 J/kg, steep mid-level lapse rates, decent shear and moist dew pts produced scattered strong to severe storms during the afternoon and evening.
