Event narrative

Trees were blown down off of Ford Lane and Nicholls Road about a half mile off of GA Highway 32. The cost of damage was unknown, but it was estimated for inclusion of the event in Storm Data.

Wider weather episode

A cold front lingered across South Georgia. This feature combined with elevated MLCAPE of 2000 J/kg, steep mid-level lapse rates, decent shear and moist dew pts produced scattered strong to severe storms during the afternoon and evening.
