There was a dramatic improve in the drought in this part of the state due to the abundant rainfall. The western edge of the D4 Exceptional Drought shifted eastward to a Decatur and Greeley County line. Rainfall amounts ranged from 3-15 inches, with the highest amounts in Rawlins County.
