Severe thunderstorm winds in Baxter downed several trees including one on Thomas Twin Oak Road, one on Baxter Road, and another on Waterplant Road. Damages are a rough estimate.

Wider weather episode

A few thunderstorms impacted Middle Tennessee during the evening hours of August 14, 2023. These thunderstorms were generally sub-severe, however, one thunderstorm near Baxter did cause a few trees to fall.
