Kershaw County Sheriff Dispatch reported numerous trees and power lines down throughout the county. Damage reported near Blythewood to Arcadia Lakes, and eastward towards Camden.

An upper level short wave passing over a very unstable airmass led to numerous severe thunderstorms, producing widespread wind damage and hail from the Central Savannah River Area up into the Midlands and Pee Dee of South Carolina.
