Event narrative

A fence line was downed, tree branches were snapped, and 175-gallon feed tubs were blown about 20 feet.

Wider weather episode

A long-lived supercell thunderstorm developed along the Montana border in northern Campbell County and tracked southeast through far northeastern Wyoming. The storm produced large hail and very strong wind gusts to 80 mph, causing considerable damage in some areas.
