Strong high pressure settled over South Central Texas, and temperatures and heat indices soared. High temperatures reached 105-107 at Pleasanton, San Antonio Stinson, Kenedy, Llano, Hondo, Castroville, and Austin Camp Mabry. Heat index was 113-115 at La Grange, Gonzales, San Marcos, and Austin Bergstrom.
