Training thunderstorms near Bumpus Mills during the morning hours produced heavy rain. This combined with the rainfall from the previous day caused minor street flooding in the area. A CoCoRaHS observer reported 2.56 inches of rain within one hour which filled the ditches and caused street flooding.

Training thunderstorms impacted northwest Middle Tennessee during the morning hours of August 27, 2023. Repeated rounds of thunderstorms produced heavy rain which combined with the heavy rain from the previous day caused minor street flooding in portions of Stewart County.
