During the afternoon of the 2nd a convective complex formed over portions of northeast NM and far western OK Panhandle. This complex moved southeast through much of the western and central portions of the Texas Panhandle. While doing so the storm system bowed out and produced widespread wind gusts ranging from 58 to 65 mph.
