Spotter reported several trees and power poles blown down on along Old Mocksville Rd and other nearby areas on the north side of Salisbury. Another tree was down on Martin Luther King Jr Ave near downtown.

Wider weather episode

Multiple clusters of thunderstorms developed along a cold front across western North Carolina during the morning and early afternoon. One embedded cell produced brief damaging wind gusts in Rowan County.
