Event narrative

This was a measured wind gust from the AWOS station at KMOX Morris airport.

Wider weather episode

On the late evening of July 25, a supercell developed in the eastern Dakotas and moved into west central Minnesota. This supercell grew upscale into a small bow echo as it moved east/southeast into central and eventually eastern Minnesota during the overnight hours of the 25th into the 26th. The storm produced a damage swath about 1 to 2 counties wide, with some enhanced damage from near Stevens County down through the Stearns/Kandiyohi county line. There was also a brief EF0 tornado near New London.
