There were several calls for multiple trees blown down in northeastern Hardy County, including along CR-23/10 Trout Run Road to near the national forest just outside of Wardensville.

Wider weather episode

Numerous showers and thunderstorms developed along a lee pressure trough after several days of late season heat. Several of these storms turned severe, producing both damaging wind gusts and large hail.
