A 60 mph gust was measured at the Poplar Grove Airport.

A passing cold front brought strong storms to northern Illinois during the morning of July 26th. While these storms mostly remained sub-severe, they produced several instances of tree and power line damage. One man was also injured when he was reportedly struck by lightning.
