Scattered trees were blown down in Madison county.

An active period of scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms resulted in several reports of wind damage. Most of the damage occurred on September 7th as a cluster of severe storms moved through Tallahassee. In addition, a significant downburst with winds estimated around 85 mph occurred near Spring Creek in Wakulla county.
