Severe thunderstorms produced large hail and damaging straight-line winds over parts of Elbert, Lincoln, Weld and Washington counties. The hail ranged in size from ping pong to tennis ball size. In Weld County, intense straight-line winds downed two trees and flattened a nearby corn crop.
