Emergency management reported 8 downed power poles on State Highway 22 east of Cranfills Gap.

Abundant moisture along a slow moving cold front led to the development of scattered thunderstorms the afternoon and evenings of Saturday August 26 and Sunday August 27 as an upper level disturbance moved across the Southern Plains. Minor wind damage occurred in several of these storms, primarily across Central Texas.
