Event narrative

Multiple trees were uprooted in northwest Winston County, including along Dime Road and County Road 19. A tree and power lines fell on a house on County Road 19, and much of the roof was removed from a home near Highway 243 and Old Highway 195.

An active northwest upper flow pattern produced several waves of convective storms during the first week of August.
