A report of a tree down in the city of New Ulm was related by dispatch. The New Ulm airport west of town had a measured wind gust of 56 mph.

A line of thunderstorms moved through the region during the late evening of August 10, 2023. These storms generally produced wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph, but a few locally higher gusts were observed, as well as some tree and powerline damage.
