Emergency manager reported multiple trees downed along Everett Mountain Road at several locations.

A shortwave disturbance moved out of Alabama and into North and Central Georgia along a nearly stationary frontal boundary. Overperforming instability and minor shear allowed thunderstorms to become strong to severe, particularly in the Atlanta Metro.
