Event narrative

Emergency manager reported numerous trees and power lines blown down across all of York County. At least one tree fell through the roof of a house near York and another tree fell on a fence.

Wider weather episode

Numerous thunderstorms and storm clusters moved across upstate South Carolina throughout the afternoon. Many of these storms produced severe weather, mainly in the form of damaging wind gusts, some of which were fairly long-lived.
