Snotel equipment at Shower Falls estimated 13 inches of new snowfall over a touch less than 36 hours. Given this site is at 8,450 feet elevation, the only impacts were to recreation.

Wider weather episode

One of the coldest systems to cross the region of the season at the time, snow levels fell quite a bit in Southwest Montana. This resulted in snow across the high elevations of the Madison and Gallatin Ranges, where minimal impact was observed.
