The Olmos Creek wildfire started on the 4th in Atascosa County. The conditions were hot and dry with high temperatures near 104 with minimum relative humidity near 28%. Winds were 10-15 mph with gusts up to 24 mph. The fire burned 304 acres before being brought under control on the 5th.
