WYDOT mesonet station Bear Creek (WY40) along Interstate 25 at the Platte County line south of Chugwater measured maximum wind gust at 8:22 AM MST.

Wider weather episode

High winds from mountain wave activity across southeast Wyoming resulted in widespread gusts 55 to 65 mph late in the evening on December 9th continuing into the morning of the 10th. Bordeaux along Interstate 25 south of Wheatland gusted 83 mph.
