A low pressure system brought a period of snow and a wintry mix of precipitation, including freezing rain, to portions of eastern New York beginning in the afternoon hours on November 21. The highest snowfall totals were across portions of the Lake George Saratoga region and the southeastern Adirondacks where 4 to 7 inches of snow fell with a light glaze of ice in the same areas as well as around portions of the Capital District. Precipitation gradually changed over to plain rain as warmer air moved into the region overnight into the morning hours on November 22.

The hazardous travel conditions resulted in a few vehicle accidents across the area.
