Interstate 91 Northbound from the Massachusetts border to Exit 1 in Brattleboro was closed due to a multiple vehicle crash.

Wider weather episode

A low pressure system brought a period of snow and a wintry mix of precipitation, including freezing rain, to portions of southern Vermont beginning in the evening hours on November 21. The highest snowfall totals were across eastern Bennington and all of Windham County where 4 to 8 inches of snow fell along with a light accumulation of ice. Precipitation gradually changed over to plain rain as warmer air moved into the region overnight into the morning hours on November 22.

The hazardous travel conditions resulted in a couple of vehicle accidents across the area.
