Snow Squall. The Evanston-Uinta County Airport - Burns Field ASOS recorded a prolonged period of wind gusts in excess of 30 mph and visibility at 1 mile or less, coincident with an organized band of snow that moved through the area. A peak gust of 44 mph was observed during this period, and minimum visibility was less than 1/4 of a mile.

Wider weather episode

A well defined snow squall developed and moved southward through southwest Wyoming during the evening hours on January 9, bringing impacts to the evening commute.
