A public report with pictures of 6 trees and powerlines down near Durrell Street and Pacific Drive. Small hail also covered the ground to a depth of up to 1.5 inches.

Wider weather episode

Robust southerly flow ahead of an incoming cold front made for a modestly unstable environment during the overnight hours. A few isolated thunderstorms began to develop around 10pm in the Columbus area before further storms developed into North GA. A few storms became strong with damaging winds and some hail.
