RAWS station TR276 L-C Portable No. 1 measured multiple gusts in excess of 65 mph, including a 78 mph gust.

Wider weather episode

H700 winds on the order of 50 kts developed while a lee side surface trough deepened. The result was for a period of strong winds along the Rocky Mountain Front and across the MT-200 corridor.
