Mesonet station MTPND Pendroy measured two gusts in excess of 65 mph, including a peak gust of 67 mph.

H700 winds on the order of 50 kts developed while a lee side surface trough deepened. The result was for a period of strong winds along the Rocky Mountain Front and across the MT-200 corridor.
