A winter storm produced 4 to 7 inches of snowfall in Cumberland County beginning on the evening of February 16 through the mid-morning hours of February 17, 2024.

Wider weather episode

Low pressure tracked from the Tennessee Valley eastward across southern Virginia and off the Delmarva Coast, producing a swath of snow across central Pennsylvania from the evening of February 16 into the morning of February 17, 2024. A narrow swath of 6 to 10 inches of snow fell from the Laurel Highlands east-northeastward to the Lehigh Valley, with lesser amounts to the north and south of this heavier swath.
