A total of 2.5 inches of snow fell near Moundsville.

In the wake of the strong wind-producing surface low, a passing shortwave trough generated snow showers during the morning hours of January 14th. While accumulations were mostly light away from the ridges, cold advection and modest instability led to some briefly higher snowfall rates.
