Moderate to heavy snowfall at times totaled to 6.0 inches at Hendricks and 4.5 inches 6 miles southwest of Ivanhoe.

Wider weather episode

A frontogenetical snow band set up from eastern South Dakota into portions of southwest Minnesota, with snowfall rates reaching 1 to 2 inches per hour at times. The highest snow amounts occurred along and north of Highway 14.
