High pressure produced persistent northeast then east winds from Monday, March 25th into Wednesday, March 27th. These winds caused moderate (tidal) coastal flooding over portions of Dorchester county adjacent to the Chesapeake Bay. Bishops Head reached 3.79 feet MLLW at 312 pm on Tuesday, March 26, and 4.02 feet MLLW at 342 am on Wednesday, March 27.
