Thunderstorm winds uprooted several trees in Desloge and Park Hills. Some of the trees were two feet in diameter.

Wider weather episode

A strong cold front moved through the region during the afternoon and evening hours of March 14th. There were widespread reports of large hail as the storms moved through, some up to 3 inches in diameter. There were also several reports of damaging winds.
