Mesonet station, Laguna Shores (XLAG) measured a wind gust of 46 mph.

A line of strong to severe storms stretching along a cold front quickly developed as it extended NNE to SSW into the Rio Grande Plains, moving eastward into the waters by the early morning hours of the 10th. Widespread winds of 40-60 mph were observed along the Middle Texas Coast.
