Following the departure of rain and a cold frontal passage, far Western Kentucky had clearing skies and calming winds for the overnight hours early on the 30th. Dense fog developed overnight, remaining until mid-morning. The Pennyrile held onto cloud cover later into the night, with very limited fog development potential that lasted for a shorter duration.
